Hon. Ladega Celebrates Ikorodu People And Culture Lovers On Isese Day
Honourable (Prince) Abdul-Lateef Adedayo Ladega, the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, has joined the Yoruba community, especially the people of Ikorodu, in commemorating Isese Day. He described the day as a sacred moment that highlights our heritage and identity as Yoruba people.
The Ikorodu LGA chairman pointed out that August 20, as Isese Day, is not merely a date on the calendar but a spiritual reflection, a day for contemplating ancestral wisdom, and a celebration of Yoruba traditions that have persisted through generations.
The Ikorodu-born prince emphasized that culture is the foundation of progress, highlighting the importance of unity, respect, and spiritual balance as core values upheld by our ancestors.
He further expressed hope that this year’s celebration would bring peace, progress, and blessings to the people of Ikorodu and beyond.
