Ijede Council Mayoress Motivates Pupils During Surprise Summer Coaching Visit
Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, the executive chairman of Ijede LCDA in Ikorodu Division, made a surprise visit to the ongoing free summer coaching programme within the council area.
The free summer coaching, which began on August 4, is scheduled to last four weeks at five different centres in Ijede LCDA. The programme was designed to provide an opportunity to bridge learning gaps, facilitate intensive revision, and help young students stay productive during the holiday period.
The council boss appreciated the head teachers for their dedication to improving education and urged the students not to be distracted. She advised them to remain disciplined as they prepare for the new school session.
She also encouraged them to represent their families well and make the most of the free summer coaching.
One of those who praised Hon. Motunrayo is the Head Teacher of Anwar-UI-Islam Primary School, Mrs. Adewara, who in her expression commended the chairman of Ijede LCDA for her consistent investment in education.
